Ahh

I hate being cliché but...

Last night a few of my good friends went into the country, laid in the grass, and got stoned and starred up at the stars. Now I don't smoke much anymore, ever since middle school when I realized how much it fucked with me and my schoolwork, so ever since it's been off and on. We starred up at the sky and talked about all the philisophical and shit, I know, cliché, but it was fun. Nice warm, almost summer night, clear Nebraskan skies, talkin about how insignificant us humans are when you consider how huge the universe is, just little animals running around on some useless rock in space, among other things. Spent three hours just stoned starring at the sky, good times, which is wierd since I am not a big smoker, usually I prefer hitting the bottle.

One of my favorite things ever is, warm summer nights, and the feeling of bare feet in cool grass. Good times.

Things that make me go AARRRRGGGHH!!!

1. Stupid people- and boy, there are a lot of them.

2. Fake people- which is about 90% of the people I have ever met and know. Which leads to #3...

3 Facebook- Kids who think facebook is the coolest thing in the world and use it as a way to show how drunk they got the night before. You're in college, we know people drink in college, you don't have to show us every single picture of you hammered with every single person you meet during the night doing the same stupid face in every picture. Also the notes that ask people to say something about them. Give me a fucking break, are you that selfcentered and pitiful that you need your "'friends" to say one thing nice to you on FACEBOOK, so everyone else can see it and know how cool your are. Oh and also when people talk about things from facebook in person, wtf?

*Yes, I have a facebook, and yes there are a few pictures of myself drunk, but very few that I have put up myself, and that was because they were requested. For about 6 months now I have also stopped updating my facebook, turned off my wall, and deleted every single person on my friends list who I have never met in real life. Basically it is a way for people to keep in touch with me and vice versa.

Kurt Vonnegut Died

Yeah, I know old news, but I forgot I had a blog.

It was a sad day for me. My absolute favorite author. He has had a profound impact on my life, how I view things, and my attitude on life in general.

Rest in peace Kurt.

Howdy

Well, I said I'd never do this blogging crap, never had any desire too, and a buddy of mine set this up for me. He, Brian, seemed to think that since I always argue with people in my Poly-Sci and History classes, that I should make the same arguments on here. Stupid I know because for one, no one is every going to read these, so it's pointless, and I am going to go out on a limb here[/sarcasm] and say that after a week or two my posts will come to an end, Ha. Second, I can not believe that anyone will actually care what I have to say about any thing. I'll experiment for a week or two, just to prove him wrong.

About me: I am a college student, Majoring(as of right now) in History/Political Science Education. I love American History, and I hate when people don't know their own history. Politics, for some reason intrigues me, and I always get dragged in to arguments for some reason, it's usually with ignorant people who don't know what they're talking about but act like they do. There are a lot of those at the University it seems. Oh well. I hate stupid people.

Also, I am probably one of the least caring people, you'll meet. I only truly care for a few people, everyone else I really don't give a shit about, especially if what they do doesn't effect me in any way.
